Compliance Matters in Port Orange Florida, is a well-run payroll service that does employee leasing and keeps businesses up-to-date on compliance issues. Eileen is a master at what she does. Her company is efficient, extremely detailed, and very well-organized. Anyone would do well to apply their techniques.
When we first talked with Compliance Matters, Eileen called us after visiting our website. I recall her being very interested in a product she had seen online. For reasons I didn’t know at the time, she also wanted to come and visit our facility. It wasn’t that this was such an unusual request—it’s just that we ship our products all over the country, and unfortunately, seldom get the opportunity to meet any of our clients.
A couple of days later, Eileen paid us a visit with her husband. She inundated us with questions of all types about product quality, material use, time frame, deposits, equipment, procedures, and lots more. After meeting for a few hours, Eileen’s husband went out to walk the dog. She said, “My husband really likes you, I can tell. He trusts very few people, and I can tell, he trusts you.” She went on to say that an office furniture dealer had taken their money, but hadn’t given them the furniture they had bought—and no refund, either. It all made sense. They had come down for a reception desk, with a basic style in mind that they had seen elsewhere. Their concern was product quality. We helped them put their colors and basic shape into a more structured, refined modern reception desk. Some days later, after getting the basics the way they wanted, we created a color rendering for them to preview. In brief, they loved it!
Eileen and her husband asked if we could design several simple workstations for an adjacent room that would work with the color scheme they had selected for their reception area. We took the same color scheme we had used for their modern reception desk, changed the material to HPL, designed stack-on panels for the work surfaces, and finished the solid wood panel frames to match the maple wood pedestal files we had produced to fit under the desk.
Based upon their business process, we designed and finished (in their color scheme) three lateral drawer files that fit their room and process. In short, we helped them come up with a simplified style to suit both their design ideas and their budget.
Several days later, Eileen was feeling left out. She wanted a desk for herself that was both elegant and different from anything available in the ready-made marketplace. Eileen planned to keep the desk for some time into the future, so she wanted something of good quality—and it had to be unique. Her only concern was that her office was really small.
For Eileen, we designed a circular desk with a hammered stainless steel front. We built the desk of maple wood veneer finished in Ebony. We then fabricated a J-shaped work surface of soapstone slab. It was a success!
We enjoyed working with Compliance Matters, and wish them much success!
