Don’t Let Limited Design Skills Stop You from Having an Amazing Office

When it comes to acquiring design skills for your modern office, take a relevant example from a survey given at the Center for Professional Excellence at York College. The results showed that the way you appear to others (especially in terms of style of dress) was number two in importance, while communication skills were number one. Selection of attire, including accessories and how you put them together, can either augment or distract from your primary skill set.

To extend that line of thinking, your business can apply the same principles. Choosing the right pieces—modern executive desk, credenza, wall color, flooring accent—and using them in concert will strongly support your ability to communicate visually.

Office Design Tips

  • Think of private office design from a modest perspective, and save bold colors for the trained eye.
  • Use quality furniture pieces (furniture and accents).
  • Let one or two office pieces stand out rather than the entire room.
  • Keep lines simple rather than using too many shapes and patterns.

Keep your long-term goals in mind, and design for the company you want.

Executive Office Furniture That Complements Your Company Image

At 90 Degree Office Concepts, our design ideas help companies improve the way they look from the outside, while they work on other improvements internally. With this in mind, we created the New York Modern Executive Desk.

Product Overview

We have created a modern executive office suite that packs a lot of punch: our New York Modern Executive Desk. This piece was designed in a U-shaped format with a primary desk, bridge, and credenza. You can select from our Designer Laminate collection (ask your design assistant to review the possibilities), or upgrade to standard or exotic wood veneers. This allows you to choose the look, feel, and budget most appropriate to the company image you want to project.

Get a basic desk at 30" D x 60" W, or add a bigger desk, bridge, and/or credenza to accommodate space and/or user requirements. Upgradeable options include stone, porcelain, metal, glass, lights, desk, and overhead storage.

The Modern Executive Desk Design Concepts Shown Here

This New York Modern Executive Desk shown here is sized at 36" D x 96" W (main desk) with a 24" x 54" bridge and 24" x 120" credenza. The desk wood is shown in Wenge, and the complementary face material is black porcelain. The antiqued bronze base protects the piece from being kicked while adding visual interest. Call for pricing.
