Preframing Your Meetings
Being human comes with the blessing (and the curse) of deciding on meaning—and making sense of everyone and everything in one’s environment and experience. Social science calls that framing. We decide every day, in every way, how to position things in our minds and how to communicate that position to others. Did they break up, or did she dump him? Is that an old car, or is it vintage? Single words, ideas, pictures, or presentations can all change the way we view things.
Knowing in advance how you want to design your conference room or meeting space— and planning accordingly—can visually pre-frame your ideas. Even before your ideas are verbally expressed, will your attendees be expecting old, standard viewpoints, or will they expect fresh, innovative ideas? Framing (how we position our viewpoint) can happen before (pre), during (framing), or after (post).

Designs for Framing
Every reasonable company owner wants to give people as many reasons as they can to do business with their company. At 90 Degree Office Concepts, our approach to making this happen manifests through design framing.
For this reason, we have designed a modern conference-room table we feel is fresh, clean, and reflective of tomorrow’s workplace environments. We call it the Frederick Modern Conference Table.
Product Overview
The design idea behind the Frederick Modern Conference Table was to produce a table that is simplified, yet inclusive of design elements uncommon to other products in the office furniture marketplace. The dominant features of this table are the coordinating, triangle-shaped steps on the base’s face—something fresh and unique to modern conference tables. The scored edge detailing (shown in black) is available as an option in other colors. As an additional/optional design feature, it is also offered with a recessed edge and LED lighting.
Entry-level material for this table is HPL, which can be upgraded to specialty laminate, maple, or any of our exotic wood veneers.
Size flexibility: This modern conference table is designed and priced at 72" x 36", and can be changed to fit your room perfectly. Just ask your design consultant for the help you need to get the perfect fit.

The Frederick Modern Conference Table shown is sized at 96" x 48" x 31"H, and is designed in maple wood veneer and finished in Stormy Gray. Contrasting base elements are in black, with brushed-aluminum base detailing above the floor. The edging features recessed LED lighting.
