The Chicago Reception Desk’s straight lines provide a clean, fresh approach to the modern-day workplace. Its squared-off posts, supported by brushed-aluminum angled feet, add an air of simplicity that can only be delivered by contemporary design. These posts offer the perfect resting place for a colorful floral arrangement or unique art. The bronze-tinted, ribbed, double-paned acrylic glass adds a dash of transparency while still delivering a balanced amount of visual privacy. The work surface is uniquely channeled out around each post, and edged with brushed aluminum to match the half-height modesty panel below.

Characteristics: Theoretically, palm wood veneer is not considered a hardwood or a softwood. In reality, it’s considered a “monocot,” similar to the structure of bamboo. Palm wood veneer has virtually no blemishes because palm, unlike other wood species, has no progression rings or branches. Palm is a very solid species, which makes it a highly durable wood. When finished, it is extremely striking.
