Product Overview
The Athens Contemporary Reception Desk provides a visual ingredient intended to elevate brand perception by association. The U-shaped beams are formed to envelope the user on three sides. The main idea behind the Athens was to create a reception desk design that was easy to look at, yet complex enough to be utterly unique.
The Athens reception desk measures 42"H, and our entry-level size is 72"W x 30"D, constructed of domestic-grade maple plywood (for strength) overlaid with HPL. The transaction top offers an 8"D functional surface consistent with excellent design. The spacing between the beams provides openness amidst density. The work surface, of HPL and 3mm PVC edge banding (for extreme edge protection), provides the user with an abundance of workspace. The acrylic glass below the work surface acts as a modesty panel, delivering visual density. As with most of our designs, you can choose the best size for your space as well as your preferred finish. Though the Athens entry-level size is 6'W, we offer sizing (by request) to fit your exact space. The Athens reception desk comes with your choice (left or right) of a 36" to 60" return (optional), extending the combined footprint from 69" to 90".
Our optional material possibilities, to name a few, are: basic wood veneer, assorted metals, high-pressure laminates, specialty laminates, and rare and exotic woods. We can help you select the best choice for you.

The reception desk shown here is manufactured from high-quality, domestic-grade plywood and finished in color-through and HPL white-gloss laminate. This reception desk is sized at 84" x 30". Color-through laminate, together with brushed aluminum forward and read posts, delivers an alternative upgrade to standard HPL. Ask your design assistant to show you the exciting material options.
